Meet Sean
Sean is Scottish Rugby’s most capped wing, having made 105 appearances for his country in a glittering international career which spanned 12 years. As a professional player, he starred for Glasgow Warriors and was part of the team which won the Pro-12 Championship for the first time under current Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend. Sean had previously played for Northampton Saints in the Premiership, helping them to victory in the 2009 European Challenge Cup final, and Scarlets in Wales.
Since retiring from playing professionally, Sean has worked with Scottish Rugby as Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Glasgow and West Academies and the Scotland 7s team, before taking on the role as Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach for Great Britain Men’s Sevens, where he progressed to Rugby and Logistics Manager. He joined FirstPoint USA in 2026, leading our rugby activity and working with the growing number of talented young athletes exploring the opportunity to play college rugby in the States.
